ask for a retrial?<br />
In some cases, <strong>the</strong> <strong>DPP</strong> can ask <strong>the</strong> Court <strong>of</strong><br />
Appeal for a retrial if <strong>the</strong> accused was acquitted<br />
in <strong>the</strong> Circuit, Central or Special Criminal Courts.<br />
However, <strong>the</strong> <strong>DPP</strong> can do this only in very limited<br />
circumstances.
