SURF
The Airborn is still the best board I have tried. I would
argue that it should keep its place in the ‘16 range.
8'10" x 32" WIDE PoiNT
“Shorter board for the heavier rider.”
• Shorter length makes it easier to whip around for riders up to 95kg.
• Delivers floatation and stability with exceptional performance in a range of conditions.
• Also a stable platform for younger lighter riders to develop surf skills.
• Available in Blue Carbon, Wood, AST Electric and Starshot Technologies.
Bottom Shape: “Continuous mono-concave”
• Moderate volume rails, shortboard outline and progressive rocker combine for a super
smooth ride with the abilty for aggressive cutbacks.
Similar boards to consider: 9’0”x33” Hero, 9’0”x30” Converse,
8’8”x32” Airborn Wide Point, 8’0”x31.5” Hyper Nut
8'2" x 32" WIDE PoiNT
“Small board agility for the not so small bodies.”
8'8" x 32" AIRBORN WIDE PoiNT
“Maximum performance in minimum conditions.”
• For heavier riders up to 95kg who want maximum shredding in smaller surf.
• Thin rails and profile (thickness) offer a stable yet sensitive and highly responsive ride.
• Ability to generate speed and project vertically off of the back foot.
• Available in Blue Carbon Technology.
Bottom Shape: “Continuous mono-concave”
• When the waves are a little gutless, drive and acceleration are provided by the mono-concave
bottom shape, combined with fish tail and square rails.
• Although a fast rocker, it’s still able to fit in the pocket for tight carves with release coming from V
in the tail for letting the fins go when desired.
Similar board to consider: 8’0”x31.5” Hyper Nut
• Shortest in the range with the highest surfing performance for riders up to 90kg.
• Finer rails foward provide sensitivity for cutbacks.
• Thicker blockier tail rail produces acceleration and drive in turns.
• Available in Blue Carbon, Wood, AST Electric, Starshot and Inflatable Technologies.
Bottom Shape: “Continuous mono-concave”
• Mono-concave gives lift and a flat rocker in the middle offers speed, whilst maintaining
rail curve for tight pocket turning.
Similar boards to consider: 7’8”x30” Hyper Nut, 8’0”x31.5” Hyper Nut
