Very good subject for topiary withy small deep green leaves and a dense habit when trimmed.<br />

Evergreen unless in extreme cold weather and then greens up again in spring. Trim anytime from mid<br />

spring to mid summer. Any reasonable well prepared soil in sun or part shade. Excellent in containers,<br />

keep moist and feed with our slow release fertiliser.<br />

Olea europaea STD - Clipped Head<br />

Common Name: Olive . Evergreen, slow-growing, spreading tree. Frost hardy and long lived in a<br />

sheltered position. Narrowly oblong leaves are grey-green above, silvery beneath. Tiny, fragrant, white<br />

flowers borne in short racemes in late summer. Eventual height/spread 10m but responds well to<br />

pruning to keep in good shape.<br />

Photinia x fraseri 'Red Robin' 1/2 Std<br />

Very popular and versatile evergreen, deep green glossy foliage, bright red new growth in spring and<br />

summer, clusters of white flowers April/May. Fast growing to 5m in time but easy to control, fine<br />

hedge or standard tree. Trim anytime from mid spring to mid summer. Any reasonable well prepared<br />

soil in sun or part shade. Good in large containers.<br />

Taxus baccata (Cone)<br />

Medium-sized, slow growing, bushy evergreen tree with narrow, leathery, needle-like very dark green<br />

leaves arranged in two rows on the shoots. Insignificant flowers followed on female plants by fleshy<br />

cup-shaped bright red fruits in autumn. Can be clipped to create dense formal hedging or topiary, and<br />

provides an excellent background for shrub and herbaceous borders. Full sun to full shade on any well<br />

drained soil. Tolerant to urban pollution. Height 10m Spread 10m<br />

Wisteria<br />

A fantastic floral show when in full flower and scented. Our plants are named grafted plants which will<br />

flower early given the right conditions. Wisterias can be trained over walls, pergolas, arches and along<br />

rails or grown as standards and small trees. Plant in a sunny sheltered position, any reasonable moist<br />

but well drained and well prepared soil.<br />
