ChocolateFest ‘07:
CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL WEEK
October 14 - 20, 2007
This October, Toronto will be covered in Chocolate with a number of
delicious events celebrating everything Chocolate during the inaugural
ChocolateFest. Decadent chocolate creations, chocolate infused foods,
chocolate desserts, chocolate drinks, chocolate inspired fashion shows,
chocolate theatre productions, chocolate spa parties, and a whole lot more
are awaiting everyone who loves chocolate ... and that’s about everybody.
For a full week, chocoholics can forget about counting calories when
visiting many of the participating restaurants ... attending a dinner
theatre ... visiting chocolatiers ... or attending many of the special events
... and at the end of it all you can dance it off at the famous Chocolate
Ball - if you’re lucky to get a ticket or take in a relaxing and soothing
chocolate spa treatment. Celebrities, media personalities and designers
are already signing up to take part in various events throughout the week.
The inaugural Chocolate Festival has been long overdue to be presented
as a sweet culinary event that offers participants a chance to experience
everything cocoa products have to offer as an indulgence or as a healthy
body treatment. Most importantly, all events will be helping to raise funds
in support of prostate cancer and breast cancer initiatives. The week-long
series of events are designed to heighten the awareness of prostate cancer
and hopefully be given the amount of attention that is given to breast
cancer. both causes need to be taken seriously and equally, and both will
share billing and support during Chocolate Festival Week. Details of all
events schedules and ticket information are available by visiting
