The 12 Hour Paediatric First Aid course will equip<br />
candidates working within childcare with a sound<br />
knowledge of child and infant first aid. Candidates will<br />
also be able to recognise common childhood conditions<br />
and carry out the correct treatment until medical<br />
professionals arrive or can be reached. The course meets<br />
the requirements of Ofsted and the Early Years<br />
Foundation Stage for staff who need paediatric first aid<br />
training. The shorter (6 hour) course, whilst not<br />
recognised by Ofsted or EYFS, is highly recommended for<br />
staff such as Teaching Assistants, Lunchtime Staff or<br />
anyone with an interest in first aid for children.
