City of Temples and beautiful Handlooms<br />

Siddipet is a small city and a municipality in Medak<br />

district, Telangana, India. It is the biggest town in<br />

the Medak district and is 104 KM away from the<br />

Hyderabad, capital city of Telangana and 86 KM<br />

away from Secunderabad identified with Hyderabad<br />

as twin city. Siddipet is well connected with road.<br />

Siddipet is well known for its handloom products.<br />

STemples<br />

Siddipet silk sarees which are<br />

very famous and is available at<br />

wholesale and retail in the market<br />

and one can easily purchase<br />

The Lord Shiva temple, known<br />

as Kotilingeswar temple, was<br />

constructed by Sadguru Sree<br />

Madanananda Saraswati, and is<br />

located near the Medak X Road.<br />

Sri Sharabeshwaralayam is<br />

another temple which is famous<br />

for the sculptures and the deity<br />

is of Lord Shiva. There is also a<br />

Santhoshi Mata temple.<br />

Siddipet has traditional looms,<br />

whose design is more than a<br />

century-old. Basking under the<br />

glory on par with the weavers of<br />

other places, Siddipet weave is<br />

popularly known as tie and dye<br />
