Why Lille?
The Nord-Pas de Calais/Picardie region forms the hub of the rail supply
industry in France. Companies based there employ 10,000 people and
account for 40% of national railway manufacturing activity. It is also home
to the European Railway Agency.
The presence of major manufacturing sites of three of the world’s leading
railway suppliers provides an important industry focus that is boosted by
strong support from Northern France Rail.
