Charlotte/Mecklenburg
Greetings: The Charlotte
Chapter had three very encouraging
Prayer Breakfast/Bible Studies in
each of the past three months that
were led by local members. We
were blessed to have Craig Duck
join with us for the B shift meeting
in November.
Several of our members are in
the early stages of beginning to
examine our ministry to the
Charlotte Fire Department. They are
specifically looking at ways that will
enhance the effectiveness of our
CISM program. Many firefighters
carry a heavy load that begins to
have a cumulative effect, impacting
their relationships and personal
walk. We would appreciate your
prayers in this new journey. Our
hope is that the firefighters will be
helped and that the Lord will be
glorified.
Treasure Coast
Our Treasure Coast Chapter
had a good turnout for our
November breakfast. We heard
several good testimonies from
individuals. We will be meeting
again in January and discussing
community activities we can be
involved in for the upcoming year.
We have been blessed with a
church (First Baptist-Fort
Pierce,FL) that is going to give us
free use of their facilities for our
breakfasts and any other events we
might like to do. We also recently
had a our annual re-newal of
individual dues and it is always a
blessing to be able to support FCFI.
As always, I encourage any
individual members throughout
Florida to contact me if you are
interested in forming a chapter in
your area. Was very excited to hear
from a firefighter recently in the
Brooksville (FL) area that wants to
get a chapter going there for his
county's department.!

Chicago
The Chicago chapter
participated with the Salvation Army
in spreading Christmas cheer to
those on the streets of Chicago in
the annual Christmas caroling
event. As usual Brady the fire dog
was a huge hit among young and
old alike. The chapter also finalized
the department’s phone registry
which continues to remain a huge
asset to Chicago firefighters. This
publication contains all of the phone
numbers for Chicago firefighters
and the local chapter has been
producing this ministry tool for
many many years.

Encourager Magazine
We are so excited to begin a
new section in our website. This
interactive part of the Encourager
Magazine will give our members an
opportunity to share their stories
and comment on the ones
submitted. We want to hear from
you. Do you have a story to share
on how God is blessing you in your
local department? Would you be
willing to share your testimony in
the Meet a Member section? Don’t
be shy. Take a few moments and
share what God is doing in your life.
Your story will be an
encouragement for others in the fire
