16 Application Design Charges An Application Design Charge is applicable on most of our new service connection quotations. This is to cover the costs incurred by the administration, processing and surveying elements of the application. Please refer to the Developers’ Charges section of the current Water Charges booklet for the current charge for this service. This payment must be returned with your completed Application Form for the application to progress. Please note that this Application Design Charge will be re-credited on the new service connection quotation. Therefore applications that proceed to construction will incur no design charge. We reserve the right to retain the design charge on work that is subsequently cancelled by the applicant. This is to cover the charges incurred by us in design and estimation. Application Design Charges applicable on: � Any formal quotation for new build sites, conversions and industrial/commercial/non-domestic, new supplies Application Design Charges not applicable on: � Any formal quotation for separation of supplies for an existing domestic/non-commercial customer wishing to provide their property with its own individual supply � Sites involving the laying of new mains.
