ARI hosted International Clinical trial day with ISCR
ARI team hosted the ‘International Clinical
trial day’ celebration at Apollo Health City,
Hyderabad in collaboration with Navchetna
(an awareness & Advocacy Initiative for
Clinical Research by Indian Society for
Clinical Research), KIMS and NIMS. Over
85 investigators, study coordinators,
Ethics committees, students, patients
and regulatory representative participated
in the event. The event commenced with
a welcome note by Dr. Ravindra Babu,
Medical. Superintendent, Apollo Hospitals,
Hyderabad. The clinical research
team at ARI introduced the concept of
International Clinical Trials Day and the
Clinical research film by ISCR. There were
several investigators and patients who
shared their stories and experiences of
participating in the clinical trials.
ISCR-Apollo Pharmacovigilance Symposium held at Apollo
Chennai
ARI organized a seminar on ‘Best Practices
in Pharmacovigilance for Healthcare
Professionals in Contemporary Indian
Scenario’ in association with Indian
Society for Clinical Research(ISCR) at
Apollo Main Hospital, Chennai on 29th
July 2015.
The event was attended by doctors,
clinical pharmacists, senior nurses,
pharmacologists, Clinical Research Team
members and also ISCR Members and
representatives of ISCR’s Accredited
Member Organizations (AMOs).
There were thoughts shared by healthcare
professionals on Spreading awareness
of Pharmacovigilance and stressing the
importance of Pharmacovigilance in
Patient Safety.
