acoustic ratings thanks to our unique multicore doorleaf<br />
design. Thicknesses range from 41mm to 48mm according to<br />
your required acoustic/ fire rating and configuration.<br />

required. The SAS 52 is designed to be installed back-to-back,<br />

Hygienic Finishes<br />
All our f ire rated doorsets can be specified with a laminated<br />
finish for quick and easy cleaning and an anti-bacterial coating<br />
that’s inherently resistant to germ and disease transmission.<br />
Anti-bacterial finishes for our acoustic rated & fire-rated doorsets<br />
are available.<br />
Our Stainless steel glazing includes a flush sealing bead system<br />
and resists the most aggressive cleaning products. It is perfect<br />
for situations where hygiene is a priority.<br />
Confidentiality<br />
Our acoustic rated doorsets are often specified for doctors<br />
surgeries and health centres. Soundproofing ensures the<br />
doctor’s confidential consultation remains just that. Our higher<br />
rated products are used successfully in specialist areas such as<br />

Fire Resistance<br />
Our fire rated doorsets and our acoustic range can be specified<br />
with choice of f inishes including Acrovyn and stainless steel<br />

With a choice of 30 and 60 minute fire rating available on single<br />

colleges and universities. Put simply, yes we can but we’ll give you<br />

An Economy of Scale<br />
Thanks to years of refinement, our most popular acoustic rated<br />
doorset : CLUB 39 has a 41 Rw dB rating. With manufacturing<br />
levels of 15,000 doors per week, it is simply economies of scale.<br />
Furthermore, through our ability to propose softwood frames &<br />
competitively priced vision panels, we are able to deliver to your<br />
project a performance fulfilling requirements at a price level<br />
lower than most of our competitors.<br />
Safety<br />
and Performance<br />
At <strong>Huet</strong> we take safety seriously, all of our fire rated doorsets<br />
are tested to European and British standards.<br />
For corridors we can offer FD30 or FD60 doorsets, in either<br />
single or double leaf (pairs). They can be manufactured for<br />
single acting or swinging (pivot) actions. Mounted on a pivot,<br />
they give the robust performance required to suit the frequent<br />
use in a typical school corridor.<br />
When considering the safety and wellbeing of students,<br />
our new CLUB acoustic doorsets range can be offered as a<br />
single or double leaf doorset. We can also propose an FD60<br />
rating doorset combined with an excellent 35 Rw dB acoustic<br />
performance if required.<br />
Choice of Finish<br />
Take our CLUB acoustic-rated doorset, it may be competitively<br />
priced but you’ll still benefit from our full range of f inishing<br />
options, including real wood veneer, lacquered laminated<br />
or primed leafs; large vision panels selection and custom or<br />

<strong>Huet</strong> has developed the Euroflam Nursery doorset especially<br />
for schools, playgroups, nurseries and kindergartens, designed<br />

<strong>Huet</strong> fire-rated FD30 and FD60 doorsets are fully compliant with British and European<br />
Standards BS 476 and EN 1634. Our fire rated doorsets are available with timber door<br />
leafs and either timber or metal frames.<br />
For public buildings, we offer a range of single and double leaf (pair)<br />
FD30 and FD60 doorsets. Tested to British and European standards they can be<br />
offered with rebated or square meeting stiles, giving you a choice of single acting or<br />
swinging doors – ideal for corridors and areas of frequent public use.<br />
They are available in a choice of finishes including primed for painting, veneer and<br />
laminate. Surfaces can be engraved with a selection of patterns, numbers, letters,<br />
logos and bespoke designs.<br />
Vision panels are available in a variety of sizes and shapes including square,<br />
rectangular, circular and diamond.<br />
Our door leafs have substantial hardwood stiles on all four edges.<br />
FD30 / FD60 double action (swinging)<br />
pivot doorsets<br />
<strong>Huet</strong> engineers have created some of the most highly configurable fire-rated swinging<br />
doorsets available in the UK today. They are offered with a choice innovative of features:<br />
Holding mechanism linked directly to the fire detection system.<br />
Locking mechanism. Our swinging doors are not just designed to be kept open, they<br />
can easily be configured to remain closed using a choice of access controls.<br />
Revised door closer mechanism. <strong>Huet</strong> engineers have developed a closer mechanism<br />
pivot that is placed in the upper crosspiece, offering not only a greater level of hygiene<br />
control but also aiding installation and improving robustness in-situ.<br />
<strong>Huet</strong>’s new FD30 and FD60 swinging doorsets are of course still available with a choice<br />
of fully tested vision panels and finishes including laminates, veneers, tinting, engraving,<br />
lacquered RAL paints, or simply primed.

All <strong>Huet</strong> fire-rated doorsets are tested and certified to EN 1634-1 and BS 476 standards by<br />
independent, accredited bodies such as Warrington Fire Research.<br />
We understand the importance of achieving and guaranteeing the continuous<br />
performance of our products in-situ. A stable door leaf is paramount to maintaining the<br />
correct and even pressure between the door leaf and lip seal. Years of research and<br />
development have proved that the inclusion of metal sheets and other high performance<br />
materials in our door leafs ensure maximum stability and minimum distortion.<br />

*Stability of the door leaf is an important factor, particularly in areas of temperature variance<br />
between rooms or between rooms and corridors. Any distortion of the door leaf will result<br />
in the seals not functioning correctly. With the inclusion of a minimum of 2 steel sheets and<br />
other materials, <strong>Huet</strong> door leafs offer less than 2mm of distortion. The result is a door leaf<br />

of wood supplies<br />
For some years now the supplied wood, selected for its resistance,<br />
density, stability, and performance (which have been proven in<br />
tests undertaken for fire safety, acoustics, thermal properties, and<br />
properties when positioned between two atmospheres of differing<br />
characteristics) has had to meet certain criteria concerning the top<br />
of the supply chain.<br />
The ability to trace the wood, from forest exploitation to delivery<br />
of the finished products, is now one of the most important ways of<br />
helping to preserve forests.<br />
Wood is a renewable natural resource which must be managed<br />
sustainably, to protect it and also to protect our environment.<br />
In partnership with our corporate energy supplier we run<br />
a sophisticated energy management system. This helps<br />
us spread our energy usage as evenly as possible over<br />
the whole day.<br />
Thanks to this system we’ve managed to reduce our<br />
overall energy consumption and we help our energy<br />
suppliers balance their own production and supply.

Latest generation high-performance energy-efficient heating<br />
systems are installed in all our new production facilities and many<br />
of our existing buildings.<br />
This investment saves us — and the planet — several thousands<br />
of tons of fuel every year.<br />

water consumption<br />
The panel bonding and adhesive application installations require<br />
large amounts of water for rinsing.<br />
Water consumption is monitored and checked each year, and<br />
the water re-treatment and recycling process is improved.<br />
Electrocoagulation systems currently enable water to be<br />
re-treated to eliminate waste water under the DRIRE<br />
(Regional Authority for Industry, Research and the Environment)<br />
control, or to recycle them in the rinsing systems.<br />
These are door panels which are “bio-sourced” or which use<br />
material from recycling channels.<br />
The technical door panels are produced from panels made of flax<br />
shives, a material of 100% plant origin, produced in Belgium and<br />
France. The cavity door leafs are also made from honeycomb<br />
cardboard produced directly from recycling supply channels.<br />
