Meet the maintenance-free, brushless Hilti SR motor.<br />
The Switched Reluctance (SR) motor has no carbon<br />
brushes, rotor windings or commutator. Where competitor<br />
tools need to change carbon brushes frequently, the<br />
unique SR motor found in Hilti TE 700-AVR, TE 1000-AVR,<br />
TE 1500-AVR and TE 3000-AVR breakers, is maintenancefree<br />
for life.<br />
Less repair costs – longer tool life<br />
No need to replace brushes, therefore principally<br />
maintenance-free over life and much more robust than<br />
conventional motors.<br />
Longer service cycles – less<br />
work interruption due to repair<br />
Unlike conventional motors the SR motor has<br />
neither commutator, nor carbon brushes, nor rotor<br />
