<strong>Tiny</strong> <strong>Teethers</strong> was established after my son was born in 2013. I love being<br />
creative, designing and making jewellery, and I wanted to combine my<br />
passion for jewellery with something practical for moms and their baby’s.<br />
The result was <strong>Tiny</strong> <strong>Teethers</strong>; fashionable teething necklaces for mom<br />
that are safe for babies to munch on. Our necklaces are made of silicone;<br />
the same material used for pacifiers and bottle nipples. They have also<br />
been tested to ensure they exceed North American safety standards for<br />
babies. They are free of BPA, lead, cadmium and phthalates.<br />

At <strong>Tiny</strong> <strong>Teethers</strong>, we believe in assessing the life<br />
cycle of our silicone teething products. Silicone is<br />
a durable material, and it doesn’t degrade. For the<br />
purpose our product serves, this is exactly what we<br />
want for you and your baby to be safe.<br />
Unfortunately, when we look at it through an<br />
environmental lens, it means this product is here to<br />
stay for a while. Our team has looked extensively<br />
into recycling silicone and unless it is done in very<br />
large quantities, it is very challenging. We then<br />
began to look at alternative means to recycle our<br />
product, and came across a Vancouver shop called<br />
Urban Source. Urban Source is Vancouver’s top<br />
choice for alternative art materials. They collect<br />
materials from different industries and are able<br />
to reuse our silicone beads, diverting it from the<br />
landfill and transforming it into a piece of art! Once<br />
you and your tiny teether are finished using our<br />
products, remember that you have options instead<br />
of tossing it into the trash.<br />
Return it and we’ll bring the items into Urban Source<br />
to be upcycled into someone’s art project. Together<br />
we can ensure that our product lives on in the<br />
creative world and is diverted from landfill at the<br />
same time.<br />
OUR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY<br />
We partner with different charitable organizations<br />
and donate a portion of our proceeds to them. They<br />
change frequently, so contact us if you’re interested<br />
