Sweet Grass Community Foundation
2015 Annual Report
A Message from our Board Chair
Sweet Grass Community Foundation
continues to make a significant
impact in our community. 2015
was a year of growth and forward
momentum as a Community
Foundation.
The Foundation was able to
complete the first round of
competitive grant making with our
program, Community Giving. We
were able to grant $5000 to 5
different local entities who were able to use those funds for
purposes that assist them to meet their mission.
We were able to establish our endowment, a vehicle for long term
charitable giving for our community.
The Raw Deal Run Community Fundraiser continues to amaze us
with growth in popularity and in the amount of funds it raises for
local organizations. It was exciting to hand each participating
organization its check during the celebration event in October.
SGCF was pleased to welcome three new board members - Page
Dringman, Chris Dern and Laura Ullman - this past year. The board
of directors is a dedicated, hardworking group of people. Finally,
2015 saw changes with staff that just seem to build on former staff
members and continue to help us reach new highs.
Thank you for being an important part of SGCF. It’s been an honor to
lead the board this past year.
