O! Frida, A Marathi Play is heading towards Egypt!<br />
performance as Frida Kahlo has been an influential lady in the<br />
art fraternity for many years with her conception of surrealism”.<br />
Krutika Deo, graduate in Indian Classical Dance, holding the<br />
degree of ‘Visharad’, has been active in theatre since her school<br />
days. This young girl, appreciated with various awards, has<br />
been a part of many national and international festivals and<br />
stunned the stage by her outstanding performances.<br />
With her exceptional feats, she is now a budding talent in the<br />
Marathi as well as Hindi Cinemas’. We must say that she has<br />
given an absolute justice to Frida’s arty character.<br />
The key role has been taken to let the young talent fly to Egypt<br />
is AAIBA Formless, the design studio based in Mumbai. Having<br />
their core in advertising, the studio believes in living various art<br />
forms in supporting them. Saurabh and Rasika Chandekar, says,<br />
“Appreciation to motivate someone is very important, but, no<br />
one gives a financial hand to let them go high with their abilities.Everyone<br />
notices your performance but, we notice your<br />
hard work too. Exception to others, AAIBA is ready to welcome<br />
every budding talent”.It is a significant initiative taken by the<br />
studio and they have proved that they are spirits for every<br />
dreamer.<br />

the most prolific female Painter of her times have been selected<br />
for the renowned ‘Alexandria International Festivalfor Contemporary<br />
Theatre, Egypt’. Previously featured in ‘International<br />
Youth Theatre FestivalVreme 2<strong>01</strong>5 at Bulgaria’ this unique<br />
creation is Directed by Abhishek Deshmukh, Performed by Krutika<br />
Deo and Produced by AAIBA, a play is a proud moment<br />
for all Marathi theatre lovers. This is now being stated that the<br />
Marathi theatre is again proving itself of having a great future<br />
worldwide.<br />
A one act play defining a journey, a life or a biography of a<br />
woman artist named ‘Magdalena Carmen Frieda’ later became<br />
famous as ‘Frida Kahlo’. She painted her painful emotions<br />
through her self-portraits which were her identity. It is as if<br />
Kahlo’s spirit takes the stage and communicates with the audience<br />
– leading them through and internalized act of her life,<br />
like a kaleidoscope.<br />
Abhishek Deshmukh, written this play, keeping the various visuals<br />
in mind about Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. He says, “Frida<br />
Kahlo’s art and her self -portraits excited me and finally it triggered<br />
me to write a play and I was thrilled by her paintings and<br />
her personal life when I looked at it. There were her paintings,<br />
which gave me exuberance to craft a drama about her. From<br />
the beginning I was very sure that I wanted to this act as a solo
