We didn’t just perfect the sweatshirt, we invented it. Way back in 1920, in Alexander City,<br />
Alabama, our company’s founder Benjamin <strong>Russel</strong>l had the bright idea to introduce the<br />
first cotton sweat to replace the considerably less comfy woollen garments that were commonly<br />
used for sport and exercise at the time.<br />
