1 . The rate <strong>for</strong> H<strong>and</strong>ling & Transport of foodgrains etc., is the basis of net weight of foodgrains.<br />

2. The <strong>transport</strong> charges are payable <strong>for</strong> the distances covered by loaded, lorries / any other<br />
vehicle <strong>and</strong> not distances covered on return journey or from garage to place of loading or back<br />
to garage.<br />
3. No compensation shall be admissible to the contractors in respect of the detention of trucks /<br />
any other vehicles at godowns, railway station / railway siding or any other loading / unloading<br />
point(s) or any other place(s) unless such detention be extraordinary kind <strong>and</strong> the decision of<br />
the Managing Director, A.P. <strong>State</strong> <strong>Warehousing</strong> Corporation on all such claim shall be final<br />
both regards the admissibility <strong>and</strong> the amount, if any, of the compensation.<br />
4.<br />
The Corporation will not increase / enhance the scheduled rate or quoted rate in case the<br />
diesel/petrol prices <strong>and</strong> labour charges etc., are increases by Government of A.P. India,<br />
during contract period.<br />
NOTE: No charges other than those mentioned above shall payable in respect of the<br />
services described in Appendix - II of the schedule of rates <strong>for</strong> services or other<br />
duties, services <strong>and</strong> <strong>operation</strong>s which are auxiliary <strong>and</strong> J or incidental to the principal<br />
service.
