Ratburger comes to Bewdley!<br />

After the phenomenal success of their adaptation of Mr Stink,<br />

Heartbreak Productions are back with the theatrical premiere<br />

of Ratburger by David Walliams, adapted for the outdoor stage.<br />

pitfalls and grizzly individuals.<br />

Confab returns!<br />

Ash Dickinson, a multiple poetry slam champion (including<br />

Edinburgh, Cheltenham and BBC Radio) has just released a new<br />

book 'Strange Keys' and will be performing some poems from this<br />

brand new collection at this month’s fab Confab Cabaret, this<br />

time up at The West Malvern Social Club.<br />

Ash is being supported by the Fab Malvern Performer Elliot<br />

Seabright + we'll have all the usual ConFab loveliness including<br />

The Silliest Raffle, Fox Pops and her wonderful Audience Poem<br />

and of course our hostess Amy Rainbow! There's the Open Mic<br />

too, sign up on the door for a slot.<br />

Music and visuals came together on 8th April for Surprise<br />

Attacks no#42, (see review page 33) with homegrown musical<br />

genius Ben Powers’ project Blanck Mass along with the super<br />

creative stimulations of both Ferric Lux and Rosebud. We were<br />

submerged into dark soundscapes to revive our aural and visual<br />

senses, with music and imagery tumbling together as one, giving<br />

us a rare (but hopefully not singular) night of cutting edge arts in<br />

Worcester.<br />

Body Double?<br />

A one off discounted body-casting session is being held at the<br />

Boars Head, Kidderminster, giving a fantastic opportunity for<br />

budding and established actors to get their faces cast in<br />

preparation for future SFX work, couples to get their hands cast<br />

and for parents to get their children’s hands and/ or feet cast as<br />

a cherished memento. We will also be offering to take casts of<br />

your pet’s paws too!!!<br />

Places are allocated at 45-minute intervals and a deposit of £10<br />

is required to secure your booking as we expect this to be a very<br />

popular event.<br />
