The Garden Suite, an ideal suite for families set<br />
back behind the pool. Air conditioned living <strong>and</strong><br />
bed room, <strong>and</strong> b<strong>at</strong>h room with b<strong>at</strong>h tube <strong>and</strong><br />
separ<strong>at</strong>e shower. Priv<strong>at</strong>e sit out <strong>and</strong> garden.<br />
All rooms have hairdryers, internet access (wi-fi<br />

Dining: Market fresh fine dining prepared by our in house<br />
chef <strong>and</strong> based on the recipes of The <strong>Malabar</strong>
<strong>House</strong>. The menu includes local, Indian, <strong>and</strong><br />
Mediterranean cuisine. Meals are taken either in<br />
the privacy of your ver<strong>and</strong>ah, in the gardens or<br />
by the lakeside. Breakfast is included in the daily<br />
room r<strong>at</strong>e.<br />

Lunch 12.30 pm to 15.00 pm<br />
Dinner 19.00 pm to 23.00 pm<br />

Children: Children of any age are very welcome <strong>at</strong> purity.<br />
The swimming pool has a maximum depth of<br />
1.5m, <strong>and</strong> the garden provides a fun & safe<br />
playground. Being close to the lake, however,<br />
vigilance is required for children th<strong>at</strong> cannot<br />
swim. We suggest the Garden suite for a family<br />
stay, but extra bed can be added to the deluxe<br />
rooms also. Babysitting can be arranged on<br />
prior notice.<br />
Dress code: There is no official dress code <strong>at</strong> purity. It is<br />
extremely relaxed.<br />
Check-in / out time: Midday. Extended check-out is subject to<br />
availability.<br />
Electricity: 220 volts. The st<strong>and</strong>ard two round pin<br />
adaptors work.<br />
Credit cards / currency: We accept Visa, Master & Amex cards. If the<br />
payment is made in foreign currency, the<br />
resort accepts US dollars, Euros <strong>and</strong> Sterling<br />

Mobile telephones: All mobile telephones work on local<br />

When to go/Clim<strong>at</strong>e: Kerala benefits from a tropical clim<strong>at</strong>e <strong>and</strong> it<br />
is warm <strong>and</strong> humid all year round. Due to<br />
the South West Monsoon it tends to rain in<br />
June <strong>and</strong> July <strong>and</strong> there can again be
sporadic showers during the retre<strong>at</strong>ing<br />
monsoon in October <strong>and</strong> November.<br />
Opening <strong>and</strong> closing: <strong>Purity</strong> oper<strong>at</strong>es on all 365 days of the year.<br />
Pests: Being a coastal, tropical area, there are<br />
mosquitoes. However the hotel takes<br />
precautions through pest control; it sprays<br />
the public areas <strong>and</strong> gardens daily. The<br />
rooms have mosquito repellents provided<br />
<strong>and</strong> mosquito coils are available for added<br />
protection when dining outside.<br />
