Services
Laundry
Residents have access to laundry facilities on each Green. Several halls have a few washers and dryers located in
the hall for these residents, however not all of them support Bobcat Cash. A larger laundry facility is located on each
Green that accepts Bobcat Cash. These centers are located below Dougan House on South Green, Gamertsfelder
Hall on East Green, and Treudley Hall on West Green.
Lockouts
If you are locked out of your room, any Housing and Residence Life staff member in your building or complex can
assist you. If you cannot find a RA, GRD or RD to assist you during the hours of 8:00AM-8:00PM, please contact
your Green Office. During the hours of 8:00PM--8:00AM, contact your building/complex duty phone. Additionally,
if you are locked out on a weekend day, call your building/complex duty phone.
Each student is given one free “lockout” per year during daytime hours. After that, each lockout cost will be charged
to your student account for the following rate: 8:00AM-12:00AM ($5); 12:00AM-8:00AM ($10)
Lost Keys
If you lose your keys, you will need to stop by your green office to pick up temporary keys. After 8pm or on
weekends, please find an RA to arrange for a temporary key. If you do not find your keys within a set period of
time, you will be assessed $95.00 for the room key and $10.00 for the exterior key. The charge will be added to your
student account. You are responsible for returning your keys when you move out of a building.
Failure to return keys will result in a replacement cost and the changing of the lock mechanism on your room, the
cost of which is$95.00 for the room key and $10.00 for the exterior key.
Mail and Package Delivery
United States Post Office Mail is delivered to each residence hall, the South Green Mailroom in Mackinnon Hall
services the Mod South buildings, and the Living Learning Center on South Green Mailroom serves Adams, Carr,
Luchs, Sowle, and Tanaka Halls. Students must present their ID to pick up their packages. Students may pick up
their packages from the building staff office during the designated office hours, 8:30pm-10:00pm daily. You can
only sign for your own packages. The South Green Mailroom and the Living Learning Center on South Green
Mailroom hours will be published at those locations.
Some private carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS) deliver directly to your room and will require a signature in order to leave
a package. It is recommended that you DO NOT sign for packages that are not your own, and that you contact the
carrier and instruct them to not allow anyone but you to sign. By signing for someone else’s packages you have
become liable for the item and the quality in which it was received. The university is not responsible for these
packages and processes.
Maintenance Requests
Throughout the year you may notice that your room needs some basic maintenance (light bulb burnt out, window
won’t shut, etc.). To submit a request, please visit the Facilities Maintenance Request website at
