Gymkhana/Scooter Games Descriptions
GP Kick-Start Race
This race is kinda like the old Grand Prix starts where the racers will run
to their scooters, kick start the scoot & race 25-yds to the finish line. Just
Run, Start & go like Hell to be the King. *
GP Electric-Start Race
This race is like GP Kick-Start Race where the racers will run to their
scooters, push-button start the scoot & race 35-yds to the finish line. Just
Run, Start & go like Hell to be the King. *
Slow Race
Well this one’s “all about that Tortoise, ‘bout that Tortoise - No Hare”
(just couldn’t resist). Racers line up in heats, & the SLOWEST, aka LAST,
to the finish line is the winner. Top racers in each heat race will Slow-Race
the final heat to crown a King. *
Egg Toss
How High can you go? This event is a 2-up event where the passenger
must toss an egg over a limbo pole & catch the egg without breaking
it. The ‘reverse’ limbo poll goes higher & higher until there is only 1 King
team.*
The ‘Kingkhana’ (Gymkhana)
The Real Deal, and a chance to show your scootering skills. The gymkhana
is a traditional show of technical skills, where racers will perform on
a course that includes a slalom, see-saw Guitar, rumble-strip, elevatednarrowing
ridge ride, & a water crossing, plus a few other maneuvers that
show you’ve got what it takes to be the King of Gymkhana. *
Capture the Flag
This event is a 2-up event where the passenger must grab flags from
grab their 3 flags, before racing to the final flag, of which there is only
1. Whichever team gets to the last flag, a checkered flag, & crosses the
finish first is the winning team. This event will be an elimination bracket
race where the winning team moves on to face another winning team
until there are only 2 teams left for the Final. Whichever team wins the
Final race is the King team. *
* FOOT-FAULTS
Foot-Faults are when you have to put your foot down to maintain
balance. Foot-Faults are not allowed in any of the Gymkhana events
except GP-Start Races, & will cost the racer an additional 3 secs for each
Foot-Fault on their Gymkhana time. A single Foot-Fault will disqualify
you in the Slow Race, Egg Toss & Capture the Flag.
