To enhance the skill level of students in Telangana , by imparting necessary technical and soft-skills and
by tying up industry and academic institutions through a nodal agency
To ensure 25,000 people are skilled and ready to be employed every year for the next 5 years
To facilitate the nodal agency on skilling to partner with each and every educational institution in the State
To ensure enhancing the employability quotient of 80% of the candidates skilled through Government’s
initiative
India is the world’s second largest producer of engineering and technical graduates, but studies show that
only 5% of these graduates are “employment-ready.” To bring candidates to a “ready to deploy” status most
IT companies spend around 3-4 months in training them at a cost of INR 2 Lakhs per employee on an
average. Realizing this, the Government of Telangana is actively working towards becoming the frontrunner
in the Country in providing “employment-ready” talent pool to IT companies.
