Covering everyone’s needs
The table below provides an at-a-glance summary of the different plan options and what each includes.
Though they all cover cremation in their standard form, each (with the exception of the Direct Cremation
option), can also be tailored for burial*.
All plans can be upgraded and modified. There's virtually nothing that cannot be accommodated. If there's
something you'd like your funeral to include that isn't included in your chosen plan, simply call Safe Hands
or speak to your approved Safe Hands Consultant, and we'll let you know what effect, if any, the addition
will have on the cost.

Funeral Director’s fees and services (inc. care and preparation of the deceased)
A standard, veneered coffin
A standard, veneered coffin with nameplate
An oak-veneered coffin with nameplate
A funeral hearse and 2 bearers (additional bearers can be provided at £50 per bearer)
A funeral hearse and 4 bearers
24 hour transfer of the deceased to funeral home / chapel of rest (within 20 miles)**
Arranging the funeral service with the crematorium / cemetery
Family support and guidance provided by the funeral director
Funeral procession from home / funeral home to crematorium or cemetery
Mutual agreement on date and time of funeral
Visit to chapel of rest during office hours
Open visiting times to chapel of rest
One following limousine
Two following limousines
Floral coffin spray
£1,200 contribution towards 3rd party fees
Comittal service at crematorium (or graveside if a burial)
Service at church or other place of worship
* Adapting your plan for burial may incur additional costs (see page 13).
** Additional mileage, if applicable, will be charged at the funeral director’s prevailing rate at that time.
