Terrorist operations thwarted outside the Kingdom
- After defeating them in the Kingdom, the Al-Qaeda organization appeared in Yemen in 2009.
- Prince Mohammed bin Nayef established a mechanism to monitor the organization abroad.
- It was revealed that Al-Qaeda placed bombs aboard the aircrafts of both UPS and FedEx, which
were flying from Yemen to Chicago, on the eve of US congressional elections in 2010.
- The Prince called the White House and presented John Brennan, President Obama's adviser on
terrorism, with tracking numbers for the packages containing the bombs for follow-up.
