Hey everyone! What we’d like to do this year is
blow - no make that BLAST – our own horn!
Why? Just because we want too! We’re sure our
exuberance will please our returning and new
audiences! Here are some “Season 28” stats
as to why?
TO THE
2016
We’re hogging most of July because it’s taking place over
four weekends
We have over 110 bands and around 700 hours of music
programming lined up for you – it’s live, it’s raw, it’s honest
and it’s in the moment
We’ve been named one of the top ten jazz festivals in the
world – so you know you should be checking us out -
in person
We continue to be FREE, hosting close to one million
attendees - now that’s one big party!
We’re proudly and mainly Canadian with a tasty sprinkling of
some amazing talent from our neighbours to the south, from
the USA , Columbia, Cuba, Ecuador and even from
down-under - as in Australia
We have our usual impressive roster of both established and
emerging artists and some special made-for-the Festival
performances and events.
