The Bodhi Tree Yoga Resort has been a project of love and a desire for excellence for
owner Gary Edwards. Guiones is the perfect spot for our Balinese inspired establishment
catering to Yogis of every discipline looking for peace, comfort, tranquility, and a bit of
jungle luxury. Perfectly positioned to enjoy the beautiful beaches and outdoor activities
Nosara has to offer. We invite you to discover for yourself what makes Bodhi Tree so
special. Enjoy our spacious rooms, our gourmet, healthy, bountiful buffet style meals.
Experience our gorgeous yoga shalas with others and chose from several disciplines of
yoga. Enjoy the sunset while stretching out after a surf session. Treat yourself to a massage

GREEN RESORT
The Bodhi Tree Yoga Resort was creatively designed around nature, leaving the surrounding
jungle as it was meant to be. By strategically placing every bungalow, shala,
and structure amongst the trees, we strived to create a feeling that Bodhi Tree was built
many years ago. Solar panels are responsible for utilizing the sun to heat all the hot
water needed for the facility. Bodhi Tree will always work towards being as environmentally
friendly as possible.
Being responsible for water usage is important in Costa Rica. Long dry winters use up
the aquifers storage making it even more important for water management. Here at
Bodhi Tree we take this very seriously and every drop of water goes to use on our
grounds. Bodhi Tree has built its own water septic treatment plant so no water is wasted.
This recycled water is used to irrigate the gardens keeping everything green without
draining subcutaneous water supplies. We are very proud to be a plastic free facility.
Along with our community we have taken an aggressive stand on keeping our environment
clean and healthy. We encourage every guest to join us in doing our part to ‘keep
Costa Rica plastic free’. Through education and consistent effort we are working to make
Bodhi Tree a consciously green resort.
You can help us by:
• Being conscious of conserving water
• Avoid the use of disposable plastic water bottles by using glass or other personal water
bottles
• Turn the lights and AC off when you leave your room.
• Water is safe to drink in your room as well we have water filing stations all through out
the resort

STAY
Bodhi Tree strives for the safest and securest environment possible. We have 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week security so you can sleep easy. As with any situation, use your best
judgment and leave valuable belongings locked up or in your possession at all times.
When leaving your room please lock all valuables in your safe. Coordinate with your
roommates and housemates to lock the front doors before leaving, making certain that
the last person leaving will check to see that all windows and doors are closed, locked,
and the air conditioning is turned off. Bodhi Tree is a non-smoking facility.

LAUNDRY SERVICE
To wash clothes, you can buy tokens at the boutique; they will explain how to use the
machines. Laundry detergent is provided. $6 to wash and $6 to dry.
To have laundry serviced for you- please place your items into the laundry bag
provided in your room. Housekeeping will pick up and drop off to your room.
This service is $15 fee per load.
BOUTIQUE
The Bodhi Tree boutique has creative and colorful, locally made clothing and bathing
suits for men and women. We also carry an array of beautiful locally designed jewelry.
For your convenience we have many items you may have forgotten to bring with
you or may need to make your stay more comfortable.

DINING
We offer an array of hot and refreshing cold soups, an excellent buffet of veggies and
salads, organic chicken, fish and vegan options. We also cater to any pallet as a
personalized service to suit all your special dietary needs. Organic wine and artisanal
beer is available for purchase with your dinner. You can enjoy breakfast from 7:00am to
9:30am, lunch from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, and dinner from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.
Room Service is not available at this time.

Deep Tissue
This therapy applies deeper pressure and is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension. The focus is on
the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and
joints).
Lymphatic Drainage
This treatment consists of specific brush like strokes to encourage circulation of the lymph tissues in your
body. Your therapist will gently press and move her hands in directional movements to reduce inflammation
and promote self healing.
Relaxing
Take the time to recover from the stresses of daily life. When you experience a relaxation massage, expect
a treatment that involves long smooth gliding strokes that are rhythmic and flowing.
THAI MASSAGE 1.5 hr $130
A more active and energizing therapy, a Thai massage promises to leave you feeling refreshed and renewed.
Muscle compression, joint mobilization, and acupressure are used during this unique treatment.

MANICURE & PEDICURE
Shellac Manicure 1.5 hr $50
Nails and cuticles are trimmed, the shellac color is applied and dried under a heat lamp, hands are
given a hydrating massage.
Complete Manicure 45 minutes $30
Nails and cuticles are trimmed, hands are given a hydrating massage, new color is applied.
Dry Manicure 30 minutes $20
Polish is removed, nails and cuticles are trimmed and new polish is applied.
Exfoliating Pedicure 1.5 hr $60
Feet are soaked in bath salts and then scrubbed from top to bottom, nails and cuticles are trimmed,
a natural exfoliate is applied before a hydrating massage is given, followed by new color.
Shellac Pedicure 1.5 hr $60
This procedure is identical to the complete pedicure but a special, stronger polish (shellac) is
applied and dried under a heat lamp, color lasts up to a month or longer.
Complete Pedicure 1 hr $50
Feet are soaked in bath salts and then scrubbed from top to bottom, nails and cuticles are trimmed,
a gentle massage is given to hydrate and then new color is applied.
Dry Pedicure 30 minutes $30

BODHI WRAPS 1.5hr $130
Indulge in our signature spa Bodhi Wraps. First, you will receive an exfoliation to slough off the old. A tonic
is applied to cleanse with a light massage. Then you are layered on with various types of body masks -
such as cucumber, aloe, coconut oil, coffee, and even chocolate depending on the specific treatment you
choose. After the body mask is applied, you are cocooned by local Banana leaves. Get wrapped up and
relax for about 20 minutes to keep the body and skin warm. Once the body wrap is removed, the mask is
washed off leaving your skin oh-so-soft and refreshed.

Firming Wrap with coffee, chocolate, honey, and coconut oil
Detoxify Wrap with clay

The ocean and sandy breezes can quickly dry out your skin. Using a paste made from bananas and
honey, this facial promises to leave your skin hydrated and refreshed.
Cucumber + Aloe
Using cucumber and aloe, both very powerful hydrating agents, this facial will address any dehy- dration
issues you may have. Containing vitamins B and C you’ll leave feeling rejuvenated and renewed.
Avocado + Yogurt
Avocado stimulates collagen formation and helps fight the general signs of aging. Yogurt will soften
the skin, remove skin debris and also fights acne. You will leave your facial feeling youthful and with
a soft glow.

Pranassage is a private session of Yoga offering hands on assisting, pressure, and support to deepen the
effects of the yoga postures. Sessions can involve either active or passive movement determined by the clients
intention, resulting in a deep state of relaxed awareness.
EVOLUTIONARY ASTROLOGY READING 1hr $150
The therapist's approach to reading your chart is evolutionary as life is an upward spiral. A comprehensive
reading will be administered including a natal chart, progressions and current transits, soul journey, present
and past lifetimes with respect to dharma direction. Sessions are offered in an interactive recorded
session.
Astrology gives us a framework that supports trusting our ground and expanding our wings. A focus on

Our surf lessons are scheduled according to the tides to ensure the best learning conditions
for beginners. We will start your surf lesson with a workshop where you will
learn the basics of surfing, safety tips, paddling techniques, standing up on a board and
riding waves.All our knowledgeable surf instructors are CPR, Open Water Rescue and
First Aid certified to guarantee a safe and amazing experience.

Our surf instructors will start with a demonstration along with a stretching program on

guarantee that you will catch the ideal waves for a beginner.

the Pacific Ocean. The ultimate stage emerges from the
serene forest, crosses high above beautiful Nosara River
and sails directly into a disco-bar on the top floor of a five

ultimate zip lining adventure.

S T AND UP PA DDLE MAN G R O V E T OUR
Stand up paddle the serene waters of the Rio Montana and Rio
Nosara, weaving your way through mangrove tunnels to a hidden
trail that leads out to Playa Nosara. This is a stand up paddling
adventure that will (peacefully) blow your mind. Best of all – it’s
accessible to everyone and we’ll do all we can to make sure you
have a successful experience in the water.
S T AND UP PA DDLE OC EAN LESSONS
Paddle around Garza’s northern headland to the fabled Isla
Rosada, visit the tucked away “Coco” beach, explore the outer reefs
of south Guiones or cruise the Garza bay. Depending on local
conditions your ocean paddling experience will be crafted to you
and your groups’ skill level. During the trip you’ll increase your
ocean knowledge and experience its dynamic waters enhancing
your stand up paddling skills and confidence.
Important to note – this tour depends on ocean conditions and safety is our
primary concern.

& BIRD I N G K AYA K I N G T OUR
The Rio Nosara and the Rio Montana are the
two largest rivers in Nosara, and where they
converge you will find a tremendous amount of
natural beauty. For nature lovers and those who
like to kayak, this is quite simply the best tour in
Nosara. Kayak alongside great blue herons,
anhingas, roseate spoonbills, and maybe even a
few crocodiles. Then weave through mangrove
tunnels just as wide as your boat, enjoying the
exquisite sounds of the jungle. Cap it off with an
ice-cold watermelon juice or a sunset cerveza
at the Boca.
WA TER FALL & WI LDLIFE
A D V ENTUR E HI K E
Experience one of Nosara’s hidden gems; this
tucked away waterfall destination is a refreshing
treat following a 45 minute moderate hike. The
hike involves crossing a creek, traversing a cattle
farm, and weaving through a primary canopy of
tropical dry forest. Stop along the way to
interpret the sights, sounds and smells of
everything around you before discovering a
series of brilliant swimming holes and small
waterfalls, each cascading from one to another.
Bask in the cool water and natural beauty of the
site until you’re sufficiently refreshed. Depending
on the time of year, it’s even possible to hike
upriver through the waterfalls. Returning from
the falls you’ll be greeted with an organic picnic
lunch and refreshments. This tour is
documented with photos. All-terrain shoes,
swimsuits and hats are suggested.
