My year as Miss Hooters International has been life
changing. It’s not just the title that has changed my life,
but the lessons I’ve learned and experiences I’ve gone
through that have truly been life changing. Throughout
this past year, I have traveled more than some people
will in their lifetime. By doing so, I have met some of the
most amazing women within our company from as far as
Thailand to the east and west coasts of America. Going
to Thailand was such an eye opening experience. It
was a dream of mine to be immersed in a different
culture and to have the opportunity to help open
a Hooters international restaurant. I also had
the chance to work with two charities while in
Thailand positively impacting people in need.
I will cherish those memories forever.
Traveling across America to do calendar
signings, photo shoots, TV interviews,
commercial shoots and hosting local
pageants has allowed me to build friendships
that will truly last a lifetime. Overall being able
to use my title to help others while learning more
about who I am as a person has really been most
rewarding.
Being crowned Miss Hooters was a feeling I can’t
really put into words. In that moment when I was
holding Caitlyn’s hands, I was reflecting on how far
I had come and was thankful even to be standing
there. When they announced my name I was
completely overwhelmed with happiness.
I checked off a goal I had tried two previous years to
accomplish! I knew right then and there my life would
forever change and it did. I can’t wait to crown the
2016 winner and watch someone else’s life change as
well. That feeling was something I wish everyone could
experience.
After crowning the next Miss Hooters, I see myself
continuing my education towards a business degree and
eventually starting a real estate career. It has truly been
an honor to represent such an incredible brand, and I am
forever thankful for the opportunities the title Miss Hooters
has given me.
