Cakespeare<br />
Competition<br />
During the 2nd-6th of May, Woodcote High School<br />
celebrated the 400 year anniversary of William<br />
Shakespeare’s death. During Shakespeare week,<br />
students took part in various activities such as<br />
Shakespeare quizzes and finding out interesting<br />
facts.<br />
Teachers also shared their<br />
favourite Shakespeare quotes and these<br />
were displayed around the school.<br />
Shakespeare week culminated in “Cakespeare”<br />
where students had to bake and decorate a cake<br />
inspired by the works of Shakespeare. These<br />
were then displayed and judged in the main hall<br />
during lunchtime.<br />

It was fantastic to see so many students take<br />
part in the activities and wonderful for both<br />
students and staff to celebrate such an<br />
influential and prolific writer.
