Dear Colleagues,<br />

Welcome to the Fourth VERVE Symposium.<br />

The VERVE symposium in conjunction with LINC Australia is<br />

committed to vascular education of the highest standard. Last<br />

December we witnessed the third VERVE continue what has<br />

become a dynamic era in Australasian vascular education. We<br />

saw a number of global experts come together in Sydney to<br />

share their tremendous knowledge and expertise.<br />

There was world-class discussion inspired by live cases over<br />

two and a half exciting days. These cases were interspersed<br />

by short, sharp, practical talks designed to provide further<br />

detail and underscore the best practice being demonstrated.<br />

The symposium proved to be a most rewarding experience for<br />

all of those in attendance and this year we promise to make it<br />

even better.<br />

Our friends from Leipzig will return to underline our strong<br />

collaborative partnership and ensure that the LINC philosophy<br />

is brought to our shores with seamless professionalism.<br />

Here at VERVE we are passionate about providing a unique<br />

vascular educational event for our region. Our course is<br />

designed to appeal to all of those involved in the delivery of<br />

advanced vascular care, those who wish to be exposed to<br />

best-vascular-practice and to observe first-hand, the world’s<br />

leading interventionists at work.<br />

Dierk and I would love to see you this December for the latest<br />

instalment of the high-definition VERVE Symposium. Please<br />

join us in Sydney.<br />

In 2016 there will be more live cases, new experts from<br />

around the world and an even broader program to<br />

encapsulate all aspects of vascular disease. There will be<br />

a new concurrent venous and dialysis access program<br />

which will accommodate the interest of the vascular<br />

community in these rapidly evolving fields and on its<br />

25-year anniversary we will incorporate a special focus<br />

on “EVAR-Past, Present and Future”.<br />
