In case, a deficiency is found at the Bachelor's level, the admission committee of the department may direct the student to take additional course(s). In such a case, the student will be required to attend lectures in these courses and pass a test given by the concerned teacher. Masters of Science Degree Credit Hours Requirement: Each master student of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department has to select one Area of Specialization (AoS) out of the available options. The courses of the remaining AoS of the ECE Department (including non selected AoS of electrical engineering, computer engineering and software engineering) will then become areas for Additional Graduate Hours (AGH). Student opting for any AoS also has a recommended list of AGH courses specified. However, students can also choose other courses according to their interest in consultation with the academic advisors. A student has to select one Minor area and complete the entire Minor course work requirement from that area. The Masters of Science degree will be awarded by successfully completing the prescribed studies equivalent to 30 credit hours with a minimum CGPA of 2.7.
