Her gravity extends.<br />
The earth’s core rotates the moon’s face,<br />
So eyes can gaze upon her deep shining waters.<br />
They follow her orbit,<br />
As she floats gracefully through space,<br />
Spinning satellites with her force of attraction.<br />
A teasing enticement;<br />
It’s enough to secure focus,<br />
But distance remains as the earth acts a pivot.<br />
She creates a crescent;<br />
Shadows spread across the surface,<br />
As golden light is hindered by her position.<br />
The man in the moon hides,<br />
In darkness cast by her bearings,<br />
Waiting for trajectory to restore beauty.<br />
Sunlight gives her beauty.<br />
A full moon glows in her presence,<br />
Reflecting the streams of white shores which storm her globe.<br />
A sublime cynosure,<br />
Flawless from nadir to zenith;<br />
She is the paragon planet of perfection.<br />
Her celestial body,<br />
Cajole eyes of rock to convoy,<br />
With every movement made in this infinite space.
