17.0 BREACHES OF THE CODE<br />

If I have any questions about interpreting or<br />

applying this Code or any TAFE NSW policies,<br />

directives or guidelines it is my responsibility to<br />

consult my immediate leader or HR<br />

representative. Any allegation <strong>of</strong> breach <strong>of</strong> The<br />

Code by me will be h<strong>and</strong>led in accordance with<br />

TAFE NSW policy <strong>and</strong> procedures.<br />

Informal processes at a local level are<br />

encouraged when dealing with mis<strong>conduct</strong><br />

allegations <strong>of</strong> a minor or low level. For more<br />

serious mis<strong>conduct</strong> allegations a formal<br />

investigative process will be initiated applying<br />

the principles <strong>of</strong> procedural fairness <strong>and</strong><br />

confidentiality.<br />
