GIVE. ADVOCATE. VOLUNTEER. LIVE UNITED Every year, United Way of Greater Williamsburg partners with over 100 local businesses and hundreds of Greater Williamsburg citizens to improve lives of our friends and neighbors in need. THANK YOU! 2
We think differently. United Way of Greater Williamsburg invests in our community by funding local programs serving the most vulnerable populations. And, our service extends beyond monetary support to local non-profits. UWGW’s four programs – Home for Good, <strong>Community</strong> Resource Center, United for Food, and the Guest House Re-entry Program – address identified needs of our community. United Way of Greater Williamsburg’s Board of Directors and staff look beyond fundraising and drive efforts to collaborate and coordinate to create meaningful change. Our call to action is to: Improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of people and community. HOW WE WORK Sixteen partner agencies, four programs, Day of Caring, more than 700 volunteers, and over 2,500 clients make the United Way of Greater Williamsburg a force for improving lives.
