As a part of our 30th Anniversary as the nation’s largest<br />

fan-run convention, we are introducing a new way to<br />

recognize excellence in all things Science Fiction and<br />

Fantasy.<br />

These awards will be by the fans, for the fans, and<br />

are your chance to reward those who have made real<br />

contributions to SF, books, games, comics, and shows.<br />

The Aquarium will have a table set up outside of<br />

Convention Registration at the Sheraton for those of<br />

The Dragon Con 2016 Awards Banquet is a premiere<br />

event honoring those guests and volunteers who have<br />

made outstanding contributions to their profession<br />

and the community. This year our banquet will be<br />

hosted by Suanne Braun. Banquet tickets may be<br />

purchased at convention registration, as available.<br />

It’s Dragon Con’s 30th year and what better way to<br />

celebrate than a Ball?! And even better, a Masked Ball!<br />

Come dressed to the nines on Friday night at 8pm in<br />

the Hyatt Centennial Ballroom. Masks will be required<br />

to attend, but fear not! If you do not have one on hand,<br />

we will have some available for purchase at our Charity<br />

Events table just outside the room, with all proceeds<br />

going to this year’s charity, the Atlanta Center for Self<br />

Sufficiency. Our Costuming Track is even making up<br />

some really special ones to contribute to this worthy<br />

cause!<br />
