As a part of our 30th Anniversary as the nation’s largest
fan-run convention, we are introducing a new way to
recognize excellence in all things Science Fiction and
Fantasy.
These awards will be by the fans, for the fans, and
are your chance to reward those who have made real
contributions to SF, books, games, comics, and shows.

Featuring DJ Marc J Cubbs and our newest premier
cosplay competition, “The Chôsen,” this year’s Night
at the Aquarium promises to be memorable. Details

And hopefully you grabbed your VIP experience
tickets early because they are sold out. For the price of
$85, you get admission to the aquarium, private lounge
area with scenic intimate views of an animal gallery,
open bar, light bites, and the best mixes under the sea
brought to you by DJ Ben Kennedy.
The Aquarium will have a table set up outside of
Convention Registration at the Sheraton for those of
you wishing to purchase tickets. Be sure to act fast – it
is sure to be a sold out event.

The Dragon Con 2016 Awards Banquet is a premiere
event honoring those guests and volunteers who have
made outstanding contributions to their profession
and the community. This year our banquet will be
hosted by Suanne Braun. Banquet tickets may be
purchased at convention registration, as available.

Masked Ball Benefitting the Atlanta Center
for Self Sufficiency
Friday, September 2, 2016, 8:00 pm;

It’s Dragon Con’s 30th year and what better way to
celebrate than a Ball?! And even better, a Masked Ball!
Come dressed to the nines on Friday night at 8pm in
the Hyatt Centennial Ballroom. Masks will be required
to attend, but fear not! If you do not have one on hand,
we will have some available for purchase at our Charity
Events table just outside the room, with all proceeds
going to this year’s charity, the Atlanta Center for Self
Sufficiency. Our Costuming Track is even making up
some really special ones to contribute to this worthy
cause!

off the 30th Anniversary of Dragon Con in style. It is a
celebration of three decades of fans, fandom, and fun.
