Sarah Danno<br />
KENDRA HARTMANN, a ris<strong>in</strong>g thirdyear<br />
student at <strong>the</strong> University of Colorado<br />
Law School, formerly worked as a pr<strong>in</strong>t<br />
journalist <strong>in</strong> San Diego. At Guardians she is<br />
learn<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> critical skill of comment<strong>in</strong>g on<br />
proposed federal plans for our Wild Rivers<br />
and Wild Places programs. She enjoys<br />
spend<strong>in</strong>g time <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> mounta<strong>in</strong>s and play<strong>in</strong>g<br />
with her rescue dog.<br />
SARAH DANNO is a student at <strong>the</strong><br />
University of Montana School of Law,<br />
focus<strong>in</strong>g on environmental law and<br />
policy. This summer Sarah is learn<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong><br />
ropes <strong>in</strong> Guardians’ legal shop under <strong>the</strong><br />
tutelage of Sarah McMillan. Her work<br />
is lay<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> foundation for potential<br />
litigation. The daughter of National Park<br />
Service Rangers, Sarah loves explor<strong>in</strong>g<br />
Montana’s wilderness and connect<strong>in</strong>g<br />
o<strong>the</strong>rs to <strong>the</strong> great outdoors.<br />

Kad<strong>in</strong> Pasley<br />
LAURA CALLANAN spent 15 years as<br />
an English professor before mov<strong>in</strong>g to<br />
Albuquerque to enroll <strong>in</strong> UNM School<br />
of Law to pursue a career <strong>in</strong> public<br />
<strong>in</strong>terest environmental law. As Samantha<br />
Ruscavage-Barz’s right hand for <strong>the</strong><br />
last couple months, Laura is deep <strong>in</strong>to<br />
Climate and Energy briefs, responses,<br />
and petitions.<br />
KADIN PASLEY, a Wiscons<strong>in</strong> native,<br />
is now pursu<strong>in</strong>g his J.D. at Lewis &<br />
Clark Law School <strong>in</strong> Portland, Ore. He<br />
is deeply embedded <strong>in</strong> our Wild Places<br />
program, work<strong>in</strong>g on both policy and<br />
legal rewild<strong>in</strong>g projects with Marla<br />
Nelson and Marlies Wierenga. Kad<strong>in</strong>’s<br />
passion for <strong>the</strong> environment stems from<br />
his fasc<strong>in</strong>ation with science, time spent at<br />
his family cab<strong>in</strong> <strong>in</strong> M<strong>in</strong>nesota, and love<br />
for outdoor recreation.
