Assamese family here in
the United Kingdom.

her name was unveiled as
little Yonah Reeha.

forgotten
SINCE the last Assam Day
gathering, we have sadly lost
several members of our
community in Britain.
Our condolences to their
families. They will be missed
but not forgotten.
Dr Dipak Dutta passed
away on 23 May 2013. The
Association’s General Secretary
Dr Nripen Barkataki
paid tribute saying: “We will
miss his kind and gentle
nature. It is a sad loss to
our community.”
Dr Bimal Chaliha died on
5 May 2013. Uaauk executive
committee member
Rini Kakati said: “My heart
goes out to his family and I
pray that they have the
strength to endure this
immense loss.”
