two children, Wheatley and
Robertson.

Clairmont Press. She is on
the editorial board of the
Georgia Historical Quarterly.
She is currently the co-editor
of the Journal of the Georgia
Association of Historians and
in 2011 won that organization’s
triennial Piper Award for service
to the profession of history in
the state of Georgia. In 2008
she received the Governor’s
Award in the Humanities.
Rick Brown lives in downtown
Augusta. His work has
appeared in New York
Magazine and Garden and Gun,
among others.
Dr. Lee Ann Caldwell is
a Professor of History, the
Director of the Center for
Randy DuTeau is the Executive
Director of the Columbia
County Convention and Visitors
Bureau since October of 2012.
The married father of two is
a passionate road cyclist and
mountain biker who is regularly
seen on the roads and trails
around Columbia County.
