My former show horse suffered since it was 17 at Spat.
We have the affected ankle checked and treated regularly by a veterinarian. So we
have managed to reduce the progression of the disease.
Despite the conservative treatment, the gelding showed lame, typical for Spat, at
the beginning of each training session. Mid-2015, we have
also started with the application of SWIT-Spat and the gaiter
regularly applied. After a few weeks, during training, there was a
significant improvement visible, and after about three months, the unequal
straining of the hindquarters was almost unrecognizable.
I am convinced by the positive effect of the gaiter, and highly recommend it from
my experience as an addition to conventional therapy. The regular use of the Spat
gaiter leads to an improved circulation and supply of the affected joint, which is
based on the gaiter´s finely tuned frequencies and can thereby take positive
influence on the pain situation.
