Life in Cornwall<br />
A short distance from Merryn Heights is the<br />
dramatic Trevose Head, with its renowned<br />
lighthouse. Walkers can enjoy spectacular<br />
views along the coastal footpath or, for the<br />
keen golfer, you may prefer Trevose golf<br />
course, one of the leading links golf courses<br />
in the British Isles.<br />
There is also the Camel Trail that starts in<br />
Padstow and follows the route of the old<br />
railway line to Bodmin, much loved by<br />
cyclists. St Merryn village has long been<br />
known for its slogan “seven bays for seven<br />
days”, equidistant from a variety of beaches,<br />
hidden coves and seawater swimming pools.<br />
Merryn Heights is the perfect location from<br />
which to visit the many country estates<br />
across Cornwall, and the museums that<br />
tell the rich history of a proud county. The<br />
Minack Theatre built into the cliff face, with<br />
exceptional sea views and Shakespearean<br />
productions is a little further down the coast<br />
but well worth the scenic drive.<br />
North Cornwall boasts many highly rated<br />
restaurants and cosy country pubs. Celebrity<br />
chefs Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth, each<br />
have a number of restaurants in and around<br />
Padstow, including Rick Stein’s Cornish<br />
Arms pub in St Merryn Village, only three<br />
minutes drive from Merryn Heights. There<br />
are also several vineyards to visit across<br />
Cornwall but the nearest happens to be Camel<br />
Valley, which is one of the top producers of<br />
sparkling wine in the world (that includes<br />
champagne!), and it’s only 20 minutes away.<br />

Padstow itself has an array of great shops, art<br />
galleries and cafes, with views of the harbour.<br />
While it may be at its most popular in the<br />
height of summer, Christmas in Padstow is<br />
a very special period. Mid December is the<br />
time for late night Christmas shopping when<br />
local bands, street buskers, and carolers take<br />
to the streets, with many shops and pubs<br />
offering mulled wine and snacks.<br />
If ever you fancy a change, there is always the<br />
water taxi from Padstow, across the estuary,<br />
to Rock, for more shops and restaurants,<br />
which runs from March through to October.<br />

After 30 days, we will arrange a date with you to<br />
visit our manufacturing partners to determine<br />
which home best suits you.<br />
To become a park home owner, it should only take a<br />
day to agree floor plans and any finer details, after<br />
which point you will pay a deposit. You will be<br />
handed the keys to your home on receipt of full<br />
settlement of the agreed price.<br />
