Thus <strong>the</strong> Saviour ended His instruction. In <strong>the</strong> name <strong>of</strong> <strong>Christ</strong> <strong>the</strong> chosen twelve went out, as He had<br />

gone, “to preach <strong>the</strong> gospel to <strong>the</strong> poor, ... to heal <strong>the</strong> broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to <strong>the</strong><br />

captives, and recovering <strong>of</strong> sight to <strong>the</strong> blind, to set at liberty <strong>the</strong>m that are bruised, to preach <strong>the</strong><br />

acceptable year <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Lord.” Luke 4:18, 19.<br />
