Membership Solicitation with Six Color Woodcut Bookplates.<br />

Olayamaken, Japan: Nippon Exlibris Association,<br />

1967. A short mimeographed membership solicitation letter<br />

accompanied by six calendar sheets, each with an original<br />

woodcut bookplate affixed to it. The calendar sheets are,<br />

according to the letter, sent to members monthly and<br />

“member artists always offer their best works” for the calendars.<br />

The plates are top-mounted with the artist printed<br />

underneath the plate. The artists include Yutaka Okubo,<br />

Hiroshi Nishihara, Umetaro Azechi, Doshun Mori, Okiie Hashimoto,<br />

and Yasushi Omoto. Letter and calendar sheets are<br />

fine in the roughly opened mailing envelope. $30.00<br />
