Return To China
Pursue your degree at a
Chinese University.
Go Abroad
Get admission at a university
in USA or UK, through EDLINE's
assistance and pursue your
undergraduate degree.
Study in Dubai
Continue to stay in Dubai and
enroll for an undergraduate
degree in any one of several
international universities offering
programs in UAE.

Intensive English Program :
1 Clear goals and objectives for each class:
You are taking these lessons for a reason. You need results!
The focus of your lesson will be on results. That means that the
teacher will let you know at the beginning of each class, what
result he or she wants to achieve during the class. EDLINE will
help you focus on results. You will develop and learn more than
you imagined!
2 A fun and motivating atmosphere:
Your teachers will hold classes in rooms where you feel very
comfortable. The layout, the environment and the colors are
selected to help you learn. Lessons are prepared with a holistic
approach to the learner from all angles. EDLINE teachers focus
on these aspects help contribute to your motivation so that you
come daily ready for the next lesson.

4 A focus on student
talking time:
Our teachers know that a good English
language lesson allows for about 80%
student talking time. Your class teacher
will only be speaking 20% of the time
or less. Your teacher will set up your
conversation so that he or she elicits
information and talking from you. You
will be exhausted and amazed at the
end of each lesson!
6 A clear link between the
lesson and everyday life:
Your lessons will be centred on everyday
situations in your life and in your daily
routines. Your teacher will use customized
role plays to make the language come
alive and to centre the learning on your
needs. There will be a clear demonstration
of how and when you can use your new
skills outside of the classroom. This will
help you stay motivated and excited
about learning.

EDLINE teachers have a dynamic style, an

Your teacher will also have experience
teaching and living abroad through travel.
Our teachers have lived abroad and learned
new languages and customs. This helps
your teacher understand you and your
situation on the most profound level.
5 Accountability and high
expectations:
While your English lessons don't
include written tests, your progress
will be measured in many creative
ways and you will be held accountable
for the new material that you learn.
Your English teacher will suggest ways
of documenting your English learning
journey through video or journal, as a
way to state your goals to reach a
certain level by a certain time. This
gives you the responsibility to practice
and get better. Your teacher will expect
a lot from you and you should expect a
lot from yourself!
7 Integration of cultural
knowledge and skills:
Learning English is not about grammar,
vocabulary & pronunciation unless you
only plan to use your skills to write
academic papers. You are learning English
to be able to communicate. To really be
successful with your English skills, you
need to have a clear understanding of the
cultural context. A more in-depth crosscultural
training at a global level is
important for context and practical usage.
EDLINE English teachers help introduce
you to some aspects of US/UK culture &
how they are embedded in the language

process with full immersion. Teachers will

LIVING IN DUBAI
Full support is offered by the team at EDLINE to place you in
comfortable accommodations on your arrival
Center Accommodation
EDLINE offers university accommodation through the Academic City facilities and surrounding
housing management services, and private accommodation through service providers. As
in many other major cities of the world, the demand for reasonably priced private housing
is high, so we recommend you submit your program fees as soon as possible to avoid
disappointment.
Student Housing
The housing is spread throughout the city; some rooms
are located in the Academic City itself ( ve minutes from
the campus), others are further away (up to 40 minutes).
Rooms are allocated on a rst come, rst served basis.
Double
All rooms have basic furniture, bedding and furnishings.
All meals are included in the accommodation package.
Rooms include free air conditioning, lighting and highspeed
internet

Our Central Admissions team will review your application.
• We will send you an offer letter which will list any outstanding conditions. We will
remove any conditions that have already been met. If we think the course is not right
for you, we will suggest an alternative.
• If we have any queries about your application, we will contact you for further
information.
To ensure your place in the program you will need to meet all the remaining conditions,
including payment of the fees and all visa expenses (non-refundable)
EDLINE will submit application for visa on your behalf.
You will be noti ed immediately when visa is approved.
When you book your ight to Dubai International
Airport, please send us your arrival details by email
to hello@edline.education. We recommend arriving
on a weekday before the induction week. Allow
yourself enough time to visit our arrival & housing
staff to pick up your accommodation keys and
check-in comfortably.

EDLINE must receive admissions applications by the cut-off
date September 15 - for November 2016 enrollment.
The Application Package must include at minimum:
• Application Form completed with all attachments
• Copy of High School Certi cate / transcripts
• Copy of Passport – clear color scan
• 4 Passport-size photographs
One week after the receipt of Application EDLINE will...
• Examine and approve admissions
• Issue Formal Admission Letter to the Student
• Send Admission Letters to EDLINE partner Century Business China who
will pass on to the Students.
• EDLINE Admission Letter will show approval for :
• Admissions
• Procedure for visa
• Fee 1 : Tuition fee to be deposited USD $3,100
(inclusive of classes and books)
• Fee 2 : All visa fees are non-refundable.
(See your admissions letter for amounts due)
Three Weeks after submission - Tuition & Visa Fees Deadline:
October 6, 2016. The Student will deposit the Admission Fee and Visa
Fee directly with EDLINE through International Bank Transfer and notify
EDLINE – via copy of deposit / wire remittance slip.
Five Weeks after submission - EDLINE will...
• Apply for student visa after veri cation of receipt of tuition fee and
visa fee. On or before October 20, 2016.
• Send E-Visa by email to the student and to Century Business China.
Deadline : Must provide itinerary before October 25, 2016.
• Student will email his/her travel itinerary to EDLINE to arrive within 2-5
days before the start of the Program.
• Deadline for accommodations: USD $3,200 must be paid directly to
EDLINE on or before November 1, 2016.
November 1 – 3, 2016.
Students are received on arrival at the airport. Transferred to student
Hostels.
Student Registration and Orientation for New Students at EDLINE :
November 5, 2016
Program Commencement : November 6, 2016 - First day of class !
