DAY 6 BANFF.
Enjoy sightseeing with a ride on the BANFF GONDOLA up Sulphur
Mountain. Afterward, a scenic drive around Tunnel Mountain—watch for
animals like elk and deer and unique landscape features like the Hoodoos
and Bow River. Later, take advantage of an optional helicopter flightseeing
trip with dramatic aerial views of the Rocky Mountains and Banff or stroll
the town’s colorful streets. This evening, meet a CANADIAN MOUNTIE
who will share stories and the history of the Royal Canadian Mounted
Police (RCMP). There will be time for questions and answers before a
chance at some great photo ops! Then, your Tour Director hosts a special

Your journey comes to a close today as you arrive at Calgary International

DAY 7 BANFF–ROCKY MOUNTAINEER–KAMLOOPS.
This morning, board the ROCKY MOUNTAINEER and travel over the
Continental Divide and along the Kicking Horse River. Westward to
Shushwap Lake with its thousand miles of shoreline, then overnight in
Kamloops. Tonight, enjoy free time in Kamloops. (B,L)
NOTE: Kamloops properties are considered moderate 2- or 3-star hotels or motor
inns. The city does not offer any hotels in the superior category. Your chosen hotel
is determined by Rocky Mountaineer Railtours; however, you can rest assured that it
satisfies our high standards of cleanliness and comfort. Plan to pack a small bag with
necessities for the train portion of the tour, including medications, eyeglasses, and
other important items.
DAY 8 KAMLOOPS–ROCKY MOUNTAINEER–VANCOUVER.
Back aboard the Rocky Mountaineer, your journey passes through the
fertile Thompson Valley and the Fraser Canyon. This afternoon, arrive in
Vancouver, where you’ll be transferred to your hotel for a 2-night stay. (B,L)
DAY 9 VANCOUVER.
A full day at leisure to explore this vibrant city. Consider an optional
excursion to Vancouver Island and charming Victoria, or explore Gastown.
