invited to this drop-in program<br />

of stories, fingerplay and songs<br />

accompanied by mountain dulcimer.<br />

Children must be accompanied<br />

by parent/caregiver.<br />

IT’S STORY TIME!<br />

Every Thursday and Friday,<br />

11 a.m.<br />

Ages 10 months-5 years.* A<br />

drop-in story time with songs,<br />

stories, and craft. All children<br />

must be accompanied by a caregiver.<br />

Each child will get a 15-minute<br />

with our wonderful visiting therapy<br />

dogs. Children must be able<br />

to read independently as this is<br />

not a tutoring session but rather<br />

an opportunity to practice reading<br />

skills. Grades 2-6.<br />

Artful Thursdays<br />

Thursday, Oct. 6th, 4 p.m.<br />

Join Miss Lucy and a local<br />

artist for a hands-on workshop<br />

about style and expression. We<br />

will be exploring a new painter<br />

or illustrator each month. First<br />

Thursday of the month. Ages 7<br />

and up. Register in advance.<br />

Coloring Clubs!<br />

Relax and color at the library,<br />

we provide the supplies, you<br />

bring the creativity. No registration.<br />

Family Night Monday, <strong>October</strong><br />

3rd, 6-7 p.m. Parents and<br />

kids of all ages. Popcorn will be<br />

A mysterious magic wand<br />

that takes on a life of its own.<br />

Ghosts, goblins, Frankenstein<br />

keep the children safe on their<br />

Registrations are underway,<br />

including our trip to Newport<br />

for a Holiday Mansion tour<br />

in December, which is filling<br />

quickly. Our popular day trip<br />

to New York City in November<br />

is also accepting registrations.<br />

We have a wonderful variety<br />

of fitness classes including Saturday<br />

morning Zumba. Our<br />

one-night evenings out include<br />

programs in cooking, painting<br />

and pampering. Lastly, check<br />

out our wide variety of photography<br />

classes and workshops.<br />
