FEATURE<br />
1946, Poland. Rudolf Franz Ferdinand Höss, the longest serving<br />
commander of Auschwitz concentration camp, is awaiting trial<br />
in a Polish prison. Albert Piotrowski, a young Jewish prosecutor,<br />
is appointed to interrogate Hoss and elicit the perfect confession<br />
from him. The encounter between the two men unveils the<br />
banality of the evil and the frightening, predictable routine that<br />
unfolded in the camps.<br />
This unsettling drama is a co-production between Israel and<br />
Germany, and is based on Höss’s memoir, written in prison prior<br />
to his execution.<br />
