About The Host
Tracy and Linda Haynes have been married for 25 years and have
always felt blessed to be a blessing to others. Contribung to the
community have always been very important to them, their
children and grandchildren.
Linda Haynes, Real Estate Broker and Owner of Majesc Realty of
Northern CA-A Haynes Organizaon have enjoyed a career in real
estate for 18 years. Linda decided on a cold winter night that she
would birth this project and name it…………….
“An Open Hand With An Open Heart”.
It all started on a cold winter night she thought about how many
men, women and children might be cold and homeless in her
community. That feeling, that thought was very unseling to
her, she felt God had planted in her heart to do something. As
she pulled the warm covers over her that night 2 years ago
before going to sleep she prayed a special prayer, the next morning she received her answer, people need something
to help keep them warm, SLEEPING BAGS was the answer.
Tracy Haynes have worked for the City and County of San Francisco Juvenile Probaon Log Cabin Ranch for 35 years.
His co-workers have been one of the biggest supporters of the “Open Hand With An Open Heart” Charity Project , even
though many of his co-workers do not live in the Sacramento County area, they have generously donated sleeping
bags, blankets and money to purchase sleeping bags for the people in need in the Sacramento area to contribute to the
Sacramento Loaves and Fishes organizaon. Tracy would come home with a car load of sleeping bags and checks in his
pocket to purchase sleeping bags, it has goen to a point that his co-workers are donang sleeping throughout the
year.
The first and second year Linda and Tracy went from store to store purchasing every sleeping bag on the sleeves and in
the warehouses of Walmart, Kmart and Sears. Aer the store shelves were empty they order boxes of sleeping bags
online.
The project have received such a good response from all of the family, friends, co-workers and business associates of
both Tracy and Linda this year they not only wanted to thank Loaves and Fishes for allowing them to be a blessing to
their organizaon, but they would like to thank all of the family, friends, co-works and business associates for
supporng them and the “Open Hand With An Open Heart” Charity Project.
