PROGRAMME<br />
Our <strong>Graduate</strong> Technical Programme is<br />
designed to develop you as an individual, to<br />
help you achieve your goals through a<br />
combination of training and practical<br />
experience. Throughout the programme you<br />
will learn about the technical aspects of the<br />
CEMEX business and also receive<br />
management training. The programme has<br />
been developed in conjunction with our<br />
readymix concrete business and where<br />
training will be primarily focused in that area<br />
with exposure to other areas such as Cement,<br />
Aggregates and Admixtures.<br />

During the 18-24 month programme you can<br />
expect to achieve an in-depth learning of<br />
primary construction materials such as<br />
concrete, mortar and screed, ready for you to<br />
take your career further. Our UK National<br />
Technical Centre in Warwickshire will be your<br />
hub location, where you will learn about the<br />
processes and procedures involved in<br />
developing new and innovative products<br />
within the laboratory. Through studying our<br />
Technical Management Systems, you will also<br />
gain knowledge of product specifications and<br />
technical support.<br />
As well as hands on experience within the<br />
role, you will travel around the business where<br />
you will learn and understand the operations<br />
on our sites. You may also have the<br />
opportunity to be involved in one of CEMEX’s<br />
major projects. The programme will include<br />
regular assessments where your progress will<br />
be reviewed.<br />

Throughout the duration of the programme<br />
you will have full management training<br />
through our established Management Training<br />
Programme. You will be assigned your own<br />
mentor who will provide support for all<br />
aspects of your Professional Development.<br />
The qualifications you will gain as part of this<br />
programme are industry recognised, such as<br />
ICT General Principles and Practical<br />
Applications, and Institution of<br />
Occupational Safety<br />
and Health (IOSH).
