Instructional meetings geared
towards collaboration and planning
is extremely important to building a
foundation of accountability and
community. These meetings serve
the purpose of creating instructional
expectations together and not
separately. I believe that establishing
protocols together and consistency in
planning for high student
achiveement is key to being
successful as a staff.

Teachers leading the professional learning and deciding
on the professional content allows them to drive the
learning while also building the capacity of your staff. I
believe that tapping into your internal expertise is a prime
leadership technique that establishes rapport and trust
between leader and staff and levels.
