Dandelion
World-renowned poet, dandy, and consummate
ladies’ man—that, in a nutshell, is Dandelion,
Geralt’s dearest friend. Like Triss, this somewhat
melodramatic and slightly self-absorbed, but
still likeable, troubadour is one of the characters
who has been with us since the first game in the
series.
Dandelion’s elegant clothing has always been
one of his key traits. He has a certain preferred
style but is a keen follower of fashion and eagerly
buys new clothing to keep on the forefront of the
latest trends. While working on the latest incarnation
of his look we tried to incorporate this
aspect into his attire.
In this game Dandelion has taken up residence
in Novigrad and dresses in the sumptuous
style favored in the city, though sticking with
his favorite color, a shade of plum violet spiked
with gold thread elements. He has traded in his
floppy hat for a burgher’s beret, though of course
topped with his hallmark feather. The character’s
look suggest that he has been doing well for
himself of late, or perhaps—which in his case is
just as likely—he is merely trying to make others
think that.
