Tauranga residents<br />
The attraction of Rotorua to us<br />
is that it is only 40 minutes drive<br />
from our home in Tauranga and it<br />
offers what we enjoy and require<br />
for short breaks away.<br />
Our time is spent riding the many<br />
exhilarating mountain bike tracks<br />
on offer, decadent dining in Eat<br />
Streat and long lazy soaks in one<br />
of the many local thermal pools.<br />
From the moment our bikes<br />
are removed from our van the<br />
excitement begins and energy<br />
is expelled riding one or two of<br />
the many mountain bike tracks<br />
around Rotorua. The regions<br />
tracks cater for all grades and<br />
abilities and our favourites are<br />
located off the Waipa Mill carpark<br />
just out of Rotorua City.<br />
As foodies, Eat Streat (an eclectic<br />
collection of bars and eateries)<br />
caters for changing tastes and is<br />
also a great place to people watch<br />
– another pastime of ours!<br />
As we farewell Rotorua after an<br />
exhilarating time in a very fun<br />
and vibrant area, we always look<br />
